This project shall include but is not limited to, improvements, including site preparation, excavation, earthwork, and partial building demolition. A building addition and full facility renovation, encompassing to rough and finish carpentry, structural steel, masonry, interior finishes, glazing, and painting. Question Deadline: 10/31/2023 at 3:30 PM ET The project in its entirety shall be completed by October 1, 2024. A cashier's check or certified check drawn on an acceptable bank or a Bid bond equal to five (5) percent of the total amount of bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount prior to the execution of the contract and said bonds shall remain in effect for a period of one (1) year after final acceptance of the work. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to the Construction Manager in writing. The Board of Public Works may hold bids for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidders prior to awarding the contract.
