Seminole County is seeking an experienced, qualified Consultant to provide Construction, Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services for the associated Construction Contract for Midway Basin Drainage Improvements. The awarded consultant will be responsible for providing a ranges of services, as specified within the Scope of Services. This project has received grant funding from both the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Resilient Florida programs. The awarded consultant will be responsible for all necessary reporting requirements associated with these grants. 1.2. Background The Midway Basin is located in the North-Central Portions of Seminole County and encompasses about five (5) square-miles. The basin is bounded south of SR 46, east of Lake Mary Blvd, east of Mellonville Ave, and North by Lake Monroe. New Stormwater management facilities and drainage improvements including upsizing existing Stormwater collection and conveyance systems will be constructed throughout Midway Basin. The construction project is currently in the final design stages. It is currently anticipated that the associated Construction Project will be put out to bid once final Right-Of-Way approval is received. 1.3.
