City properties will be mowed, edged, trimmed, fertilized, and landscaped routinely and as needed. Code Enforcement will compile lists of properties for abatement. Services would include, but not be limited to, mowing, edging, weed eating and debris removal and disposal. Requests for information must be submitted in writing to the City of Aubrey: 107 S. Main Street, Aubrey, Texas 76227, Attention: Jereme Boyle or via email to jboyle@aubreytx.gov. All requests for information shall be received no later than three (3) calendar days prior to bid Submission Deadline. Bidders must submit a Cashier's or Certified Check, issued by a bank authorized to do business in the State of Texas and satisfactory to the City, or Bid Bond issued by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Texas and satisfactory to the City, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Aubrey in an amount equal to 5% of $70,000.00, which is the estimated amount of the awarded contract, as a guaranty that bidder whose bid is awarded will enter into a contract. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of $70,000.00 from a Surety Company holding authorized to do business as a Surety in the State of Texas.
