The Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System on behalf of the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, hereinafter termed the Owner. All potential bidders must be certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on UW-Managed construction projects. All bids received from contractors who are not certified will be rejected This project is being let using the simplified procedure for solicited bids and contracting process. The Owner will publicly open general contractor bids. General contractor bids that do not include MEP bids will be rejected. The Owner will enter into a single contract with the lowest, qualified, responsible, certified general contractor. In general, the work consists of renovating existing Rooms 450 and 452 into a single room to serve as a corporate level conference room. The room will consist of glazed walls and doors, casework, and wall-mounted large screen TVs. Existing walls will be updated to provide 1-hour fire rating. New floor and ceiling finishes will be provided in the new conference room, while patching of finishes will occur in adjacent rooms. Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. Contractor MUST submit hard copies of bid to UWSA within 10 working days of being notified of award. Contract offer and construction phase records will be processed via email.
