The City of Columbus wishes to make certain public improvements The scope of the work shall be removing and replacement of a storm sewer line. All work will be performed at the detailed and specific direction of the City Engineer's office. Work shall begin as soon as possible after the notice to proceed is received by the contractor and onsite utility coordination meeting has taken place Question Deadline: 10/13/2023 at 12:00 PM ET The work must be completed by December 5, 2023. Failure to complete projects on time will result in the deduction of $100 per calendar day, not counting weekends and holidays, as liquidated damages, from any money due the Contractor. You are required to submit a copy of the Certificate of Liability Insurance with the quote. Insurance coverage is required in the amount of not less than Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000) for any one person, nor less than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) for any one accident. Contractor will be required to obtain a Request for Special Use of Right of Way for any street, traffic lane, alley, parking space or sidewalk closure. The City of Columbus expressly reserves the right to reject any and all quotes.
