The Single-story, Type a-3 Occupancy Buidling Includes a Weight Trainining Room, Athletic Training Room, Locker Rooms, Golf Simulator Room, Single-use Toilet Rooms, Utility and Mechanical Spaces, and Support Areas. New Utility Connectsion to the Buidling, New Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems Are Provided Throughout the Buidling. Scope Includes a Partially Covered Outdoor Plaza Space. e River Valley School District will utilize electronic bidding to receive separate sealed bids for the RVSD Athletic Facilities Phase 4 contracts of: Contract 4A - (Prime General Contracting Acting as Construction Manager) Architectural, Structural, Site, Civil, Landscaping Contract 4B - Plumbing (prime) Contract 4C - Mechanical (prime) Contract 4D - Electrical (prime). Bidders are required to provide Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount bid. Bid Security may be provided in the form of a certified check or a bid bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to transact such business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Upon award of a contract, the Successful Bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract value. Upon completion of the contract, the Successful Bidder shall provide a 2-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the final contract value. The Owner reserves the right to chose the lowest responsible bidder using the Base Bid Total Price or the Base Bid with Deduct Amount, or the Base Bid with Alternates. The Owner reserves the right to award based on available funding and to cancel all bids if necessary. The proposal pricing for any Allowances will be negotiated in accordance with the specifications.
