The Project consists of the construction of a 60,000 gallon Equalization Tank, mixer, pumping station and appurtenant work to be located at the Town of North Liberty Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on bid proposal form provided, accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the Owner in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. Each bid shall include Indiana State Form 96 and all other required forms as described in the bidding documents. Bidder shall be certified to do work in the State of Indiana. Additional Bidding requirements are in the Instructions to bidders included in the Project Documents. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price before commencing work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall remain in effect throughout the entire construction period. In addition a Warranty Bond in the amount of ten (10%) will be required for a period of three (3) years prior to the final acceptance by the Owner. The project will be financed through the Indiana Finance Authority through the State Revolving Fund. Contractors are required to adhere to Davis Bacon Wage Rates throughout construction. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in bidding or to accept the bid, consistent with law, which best serves the interest of the Owner.
