The City is seeking a qualified Proposer to provide Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) services for the City's new Fire Station No. 7. The proposed location for this building is 2144 Palm Bay Road, FL 32905. Design services have been obtained and awarded through a separate contract. The selected CMAR shall coordinate with the City's selected design consultant. The Fire Station will be approximately 13,000 SF and will require site improvements including paving, grading, stormwater, and utilities. The City anticipates that all construction shall be completed by mid-2025. Contractor shall provide complete CMAR services to include pre-construction and construction phase services for the building as identified in the scope. The selected CMAR shall enter into a contract with the City for pre-construction services, including the furnishing of a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposal for construction phase services. If the proposal is accepted, the City will amend the pre-construction services contract to include construction phase services. At the time the pre-construction services are negotiated, the City may elect to negotiate the percentage of CMAR fee, as well as other aspects of the services to be provided by the CMAR during the construction phase.
