**As of October 12, 2023, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** The Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota (the "University") is requesting Proposals to provide construction services for replacement of cooling tower in Animal Sciences Vet Med, located on the St. Paul campus (the "Project"). 416-CTWR51 is at the end of its life expectancy and should be replaced. It serves walk-in environmental rooms and coolers throughout the building, and we will need to provide temporary service during construction. Any associated pumps should also be replaced. As part of the project we would like to look at the removal of an abandoned chiller and tank south of the cooling tower and also two abandoned cooling towers that used to serve the building chiller. The selected contractor will be responsible for developing design drawings/construction documents for permitting and construction. At the end of the Project, the contractor will be responsible for submitting Record drawings. If architectural details are needed in the design documents, the selected contractor will need to acquire these services. The selected contractor will participate in Code, Energy Management, and Facility Management design review meetings during the design phase of the Project.
