This bid is for serving lines needed at four different schools. Items, quantities and school details will be listed in the specifications. We are asking you to hold your prices firm for 120 days from anticipated award date of November 14, 2023. This is in anticipation that we could have more needs arise in any of our 53 locations. All freight and delivery charges MUST be included in the unit cost. The company awarded the bid is expected to have delivery and set up completed i n t h e m o s t e x p e d i e n t t i m e f r a m e a v a i l a b l e . P r e f e r a b l y w i t h i n 6 0 d a y s o f a w a r d ( 1 1 - 1 4 - 2 3 ) . A n y D e l a y w i l l n e e d n o t i f i c a t i o n t o the Richmond County Nutrition Services Director. Also note further requirements under the following standard terms and conditions: Sealed bid requirement: each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Dr. Kenneth bradshaw, superintendent of schools, c/o mr. Bobby a. Smith, chief financial officer, Richmond county school system, 864 broad street, augusta, georgia 30901. Each sealed envelope Containing a bid must be plainly marked on the outside "cafeteria serving lines for four Schools rfq #23-153" and the envelope must bear on the outside the name and complete Address of the vendor. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be Enclosed in another envelope addressed to dr. Kenneth bradshaw, superintendent of schools, c/o Mr. Bobby a. Smith, cfo, richmond county school system, 864 broad street, augusta, georgia 30901, rfq #23-153. Bidders must satisfy themselves of the accuracy of the bid pricing by reviewing the bid specifications and a review of the job site. After bids have been submitted, the bidder shall not assert that there was a misunderstanding concerning the quantities of work, the utilities available or the nature of the work to be done.
