The City of Chelsea Massachusetts through its Chief Procurement Officer is seeking sealed bids to furnish all services to provide "Institutional (Building) Cleaning Services" for the City of Chelsea The City of Chelsea MA is publishing this Invitation for Bids for a qualified vendors, to provide for Institutional (Building) Cleaning Services Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of the bidder or a bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety t hereon a surety company approved by the City, in the amount of 5% of the bid, payable to the City of Chelsea and must be filed with the original bid. Deadline for Written Inquiries October 11, 2023 Response to Written Inquiries October 13, 2023 The contract term will commence on November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2024 with two additional one year options, at the sole discretion of the City, from November 1, 2024 - October 31, 2025 and November 1, 2025 - October 31, 2026 respectively The City of Chelsea reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject and/or all bids and to waive minor irregularities and/or formalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the City. In accordance with our Minority Business Enterprise Plan, we are inviting all qualified women and minority business firms to respond. This invitation for bid is in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B. All such withdrawals, modifications or amendments must so state in the subject line of the email correspondence. Any withdrawal, modification or amendment arriving after the date and time set forth for accepting responses will not be considered. After the opening of the response, a responder may not change any provision of the response in a manner prejudicial to the interests of the City of Chelsea or fair competition. Minor informalities will be waived at the discretion of the City of Chelsea.
