City of Chubbuck (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2023 Pedestrian Crossing Project Bids for the construction of the Project The Project includes the following Work: This project includes improvements to several pedestrian crossings at various locations. The improvements include replacement of concrete pedestrian ramps, installation of signs and pavement markings, and the installation of city-provided rectangular rapid flashing beacons. Bids are requested for the following Contract: 2023 Pedestrian Crossing Project Pre-bid Conference - A pre-bid conference for the Project will NOT be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check or cash in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Chubbuck as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder must have a public works construction license pursuant to Idaho Code Title 54, Chapter 19, prior to entering into the contract. The City of Chubbuck reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Chubbuck. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
