Notice is hereby given that the Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals and the submission of qualifications for Construction Services - Roof Replacement Projects at the County Complex 329 Mast Road, Goffstown, NH. The Contractor will supply bid proposal pricing to include: the removal and installation of asphalt shingled roof on two buildings; and the purchase and installation of an aluminum, seamless, gutter system with gutter guards on two buildings as defined on page 19; and the removal of (8) aged rooftop cupolas; and the purchase and installation of (8) venting metal cupolas1 ; as pre ordered by the BOC; and a roof repair on a third building; all work to be done at the property of 329 Mast Road, Goffstown, New Hampshire. The Hillsborough County Commissioners Office of Administration and Finance is soliciting quotations from responsible bidders to provide a full Roof and Gutter Implementation. Questions and applicable responses in the form of Addenda will be posted Electronically No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Contractor will provide a bid guarantee equivalent to five percent of the bid price. The bid guarantee must consist of a firm commitment such as a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument accompanying a bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required within the time specified Questions regarding interpretations of this RFP shall be in writing. Before submitting the proposal, the Contractor shall be familiar with the specifications, notice to contractors, advertisement and proposal form. He/she shall have investigated, in detail, the site(s) of the project and shall have made such examination, thereof, as may be necessary to satisfy him/herself in regard to the character and amount of the work involved. Contractors interested in submitting a bid are required to attend a site tour and inspect the premises inside and out Only those inquiries and those responses made in writing will be binding. The Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Contractors and proposals and to waive or disregard minor irregularities, informalities, or deficiencies. The selected Contractor will also, prior to the execution of the Contract, furnish bonds covering the full and faithful performance of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Such bonds shall be in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract sum. The Contractor shall pay the premium, and the securities secured through the Contractors usual sources as may be agreeable to the parties. The Contractor shall deliver the required Bonds to the County not later than the date of execution of the Contract. Bonds shall remain in effect for not less than the contract term The Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to amend this Request for Proposals at any time prior to the receipt of bids. The Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners further reserves the right to cancel this Request for Proposals, in whole or in part, at any time. The Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners shall be the sole determining factor as to what constitutes an acceptable bid. The bid award shall be subject to annual funding appropriations. This Request for Proposals is presented in accordance with New Hampshire RSA 28:8-e. This bid will be awarded consistent with said statute.
