The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to select a Proposal for the Montrose Avenue Transit Exchange project which includes transportation and transit exchange upgrades, utility upgrades, electrical upgrades. Third party utility upgrades, and landscaping upgrades along Montrose Avenue between South Fraser Way and McDougall Avenue. The proposed work also includes a BC Transit washroom building at the intersection of Montrose Avenue and Laurel Street. The Montrose Avenue Transit Exchange project includes, but is not limited to the provision of all labor, flagging, traffic control, materials, storage location rental (not within the City’s road right of way), erosion and sediment control, work site maintenance, tools, plant and equipment as necessary to carry out the preparation and installation of new transit exchange upgrades, traffic signals, street light upgrades, utility upgrades, landscaping, retaining walls, BC Transit washroom, crosswalk improvements, and related intersection improvements at the following four locations: Montrose Avenue at McDougall Avenue Montrose Avenue at Laurel Street Montrose Avenue at South Fraser Way Montvue Avenue at Laurel Street Documents can be obtained from https://abbotsford.bidsandtenders.ca/
