Maryland Public Television, (MPT) is seeking a Contractor to provide labor, tools, and equipment for office remodeling at its Owings Mills facility located at 11767 Owings Mills Boulevard. Maryland Public Television (MPT) is soliciting offers to provide labor, tools, equipment, and supervision for office remodeling. 1. The contractor shall construct a dustproof barrier. 2. The contractor shall install materials without damage to the surrounding surfaces, walls, floors, or ceiling of the area around the Development office. 3. The Contractor shall allow adequate space and maintain a clear passageway in the corridor as directed. 4. Any damage to existing utilities, equipment, or finished surfaces resulting from the performance of this contract shall be repaired to MPTs satisfaction at the contractors expense WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Phase 1. 1. Enclose the area with plastic sheeting. 2. Remove and dispose of marked cubicles and all carpet. 3. Clean the work area. 4. Install walls to make four (4) offices. There will be at least a 1-week pause after Phase 1 for MPT to rough-in the electrical work. Phase 2. 1. Install insulation and sheetrock; spackle. 2. Hang door frames. 3. Paint with 2 coats of supplied paint. All materials, such as plastic sheeting and tape, a dumpster, metal studs, and screws, will be supplied by MPT. Please report any material recycled to the Contract Manager.
