Marilla Park New Pool Complex The Project includes the following Work: A new pool complex will be constructed at a new location within Marilla Park from where the existing pool is located. The new complex will include a leisure pool, lazy river, lap lane pool, three water slides, splash pad, and other related aquatic recreation items such as spray features, crossing activities, and a diving board. The pool complex will also include the development of two new buildings. Building one will include locker rooms, pool mechanical room, and storage space on floor one. Floor two will consist of administrative office space. A picnic shelter is also connected to building one. Building two will include a ticketing office, restrooms, and a splash pad mechanical room. This project will also include the development of a new parking lot area, walkways, shade sails, landscaping, and playground areas. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Morgantown Board of Parks and Recreation in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Marilla Pool Complex The Work will be substantially completed within 330 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 360 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License per Section 30-42-12 of the West Virginia Code. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
