Description of Work: Installation of electrical infrastructure and site preparation for a future electric vehicle charging station at the Parks Maintenance facility at 81 Thompson Street, Asheville, NC. Deadline to Submit Questions Friday, October 13, 2023 @2:00pm All questions that arise from the site visits must be submitted in writing prior to the deadline to submit questions. These questions will ultimately be posted with answers in an addendum no later than (7) days prior to the bid opening date. Attendance will be taken at each site visit, and will be shared in the addendum. The Asheville Business Inclusion Policy requires Minority and Women Business Enterprise outreach on City contracts. Additionally, N.C.G.S. 143-128.2 requires minority and women business outreach for building construction projects requiring the below provided information to be reported to the State of North Carolina Office of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB). The Bidder shall provide applicable ABI Documentation, as described in the project manual - Asheville Business Inclusion (ABI Goals) - with their bid in order to be deemed responsive. Failure to do so will result in the Bidders bid being deemed non-responsive and disqualified.
