Water and Sewer Extensions to Serve Jennings Park Part 1: City of Statesville Sewer System Extension Part 2: Iredell Water Corporation Waterline Extension Bids for the construction of the Project The Project includes the following Work: Part 1: Approximately 12,231 LF of 16, 12, and 8 gravity sewer, 655 LF of steel bored encasement, 560 LF of storm drain pipe, erosion control, and appurtenances. Part 2: Approximately 1,740 LF of 8 waterline along Deitz Rd, two 8 x 4 taps with 4 waterline extended across Deitz Rd, and appurtenances. Funding for this project will be made in whole or part with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) federal aid. The Project has an expected duration of 270 days Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the Issuing Office's delivery method of choice. An additional charge will be required for special shipping services requested by a Prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidders must hold a valid North Carolina General Contractors license with a classification of "PU-Waterlines & Sewerlines" or "Unclassified" at the time of bid submittal. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $50 including shipping via overnight express service. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained in the bid documents and all provisions of these documents must be complied with. This solicitation does not commit Iredell County to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a proposal, or to procure or contract for the services.
