Fayette County is seeking bids from qualified contractors to install restroom partitions, in the upstairs and downstairs restroom at the Public Works building. 1. Each restroom partition shall be a solid polymer (high density polyethylene, or HDPE) 2. Plastic toilet compartment mounted on the floor and braced overhead. 3. Color shall be cream. 4. Installation shall include urinal screens with floor supports. 5. Install new brushed vault hinge door hardware and surface mounted slide latch. 6. Door pulls for handicapped door and vandal resistant stainless-steel fasteners shall be included. 7. Contractors shall be responsible for obtaining measurements. 8. The new partitions shall have the same measurements and setup as previous. 9. The County will remove the old partitions before contractor installs new ones. 10. Building permit not required for this project. 11. The work shall be between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Contractor may work Saturday if approve by the County. 12. Contractor shall be responsible for all materials needed to complete this project. 13. Contractor is responsible for storage of material while working on the project. If a storage unit is needed contractor will be shown where it can be put. 14. Contractor shall be responsible for personnel, equipment, vehicles, tools, and materials needed to complete this project. 15. Contractor shall be responsible for the conduct of their personnel while on county property or in county buildings. 16. County has a no smoking policy on county property or in county building. Contractor shall abide by this policy. 17. Contractor shall be responsible for and liable for any damage cause by them during this project. 18. County personnel shall inspect the work and stop the work if any deficiencies are found. Work shall not start back until the problem is solve.
