The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for an elevator modernization of the Richmond Air Traffic Control Tower (RIC ATCT) in Richmond, VA. Review all attachments pertaining to this solicitation prior to submitting a proposal. Please note the FAR references cited in Beta.SAM are not applicable to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS). This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this SIR. To be considered for of this requirement, the offeror must have a current/valid registration in the System for Management (SAM) database website: www.sam.gov. To be eligible for , the offeror must submit a proposal that is in accordance with Section L and Section M of this SIR. Elevator modernization and preventive service agreement at the Air Traffic Control Tower in Richmond, Virginia (RIC ATCT). The FAA is exempt from state and local taxes; this exemption, however, does not pass through to the contractor. The contractor therefore will be responsible for all state, local, and other applicable taxes. All contractors must have an active registration in SAM (sam.gov) in order to receive the . This Solicitation is a competitive total small business - under: NAICS Code: 238290 Small Business Size Standard: $22M Estimated Project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. and Payment Bonds are required for this requirement. Critical submittals: The FAA intends to issue the NTP within 45 after contract date. The awardee must provide all pre-construction (critical) submittals to the FAA for approval within 21 after the contract date.*The FAA reserves the right to issue the NTP before or after the aforementioned 45 . Critical Submittals are as follows: 1. Construction Schedule 2. Shop Drawings 3.
