Repair and Resurfacing of Two Tennis Courts and Tennis Nets The City of Millington is seeking proposals from interested and qualified companies for the resurfacing and repair of the two tennis courts at Aycock Park located (7330 Renda street Millington, TN 38053). The current area has two tennis courts which measure (120 ft x 120 ft) for an area of 14,400 square feet. The courts will need to be repaired and resurfaced. This will include but is not limited to the cleaning, scraping, and filling of any holes and cracks that may need to be repaired in the existing concrete. The courts will need to be smoothed out and an approved color coating applied. Damaged poles and nets will need to be replaced. The finished product will be a total of two tennis courts and two pickleball courts lined and painted. Selection and award must be approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen before a contract will be executed and a notice to proceed issued. The city prefers all work to be completed as soon as possible but no later than December 31, 2023. The contractor awarded the project must provide an insurance certificate, naming the city as an additional insurer, for all liability as well as workers compensation insurance for all employees and equipment/auto insurance. All subcontractors must be approved by the city. The City may waive any informalities or minor irregularities. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen is the final authority and shall have the right to reject any single Proposal or all Proposals submitted.
