sealed bids will be received by the Washington Township Board of Education, Morris County, New Jersey for the following project: Sports Courts Replacement at Long Valley Middle School PSA Commission Number 9175LVMS-COURT The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, replacement of existing tennis courts and basketball asphalt court at Long Valley Middle School. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following categories, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27.1, et.seq.: (C054) SITE WORK OR (C060) ATHLETIC FIELDS/TRACKS/COURTS Bidders and subcontractors for each of the major branches of work specified in N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18 must be prequalified by the DPMC. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of (1) a bid bond or certified or cashier's check payable to Washington Township Board of Education equal to 10% of the amount of the bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000.00 per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24, and (2) Certificate of Consent of Surety per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25. The Washington Township Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive minor immaterial defects in any bid, or to award a lump sum contract, in accordance with applicable laws, including the requirements of the Public School Contracts Law at N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date.
