Scope includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals for the permitting and construction of the Hollywood North Beach Park Mooring Fields as detailed throughout the Contract Documents, as well as those required to meet specified codes, references, and standards. A general description of the Hollywood North Beach Park Mooring Fields includes both marine construction and upland site construction at the Loggerhead Park site of Hollywood North Beach Park. Marine construction includes dredging and landfill disposal of approximately 12000 cubic yards of waterway bottom sediments within the north cove area, construction of 29 mooring slips with each having a fore and aft anchor buoy, and aluminum floating docks/gangways with concrete piling. Upland site construction includes an 800 square foot services building, sitework with concrete sidewalks, site water/sewer/electric service, a grinder pump lift station, site lighting, decorative aluminum picket fencing, and landscaping. This solicitation includes participation goals for Broward County certified County Business Enterprises. Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. Basis of Award: The basis of award shall be to the lowest, responsive, and responsible Vendor. Bidder must bid all line items in order to be deemed responsive and considered for award. Ownership Disclosure: Broward County is collecting entity ownership information for Vendors. This is for informational purposes only and the data will be used for Broward County's research on possible contracting opportunity disparities. The forms will be maintained separately from all other records of this solicitation and will be accessible only by authorized personnel. The information provided will not be used in determining whether the Vendor will receive a contract award. Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (refer to Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation.
