Reference Number 0000332182 The City is seeking proposals to rehabilitate an existing Aquatic Center Pool. Work shall include but is not limited to removing and replacing the swimming pool structures, finishes, cantilever forming, swimming pool mechanical and electrical systems, and all accessories necessary for a complete, functional swimming pool. Work shall include start-up, instruction of Owner's personnel, as-built drawings and warranties as required. Each Bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or Bid Bond secured from a surety company satisfactory to the City, the amount of which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price, made payable to City of Shafter as bid security. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. *City shall award the contract for the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder as determined by the City from the BASE BID ALONE. City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
