The Demere Park Improvement Project includes construction of a new 30 x 50 pavilion with restrooms, sidewalk additions, construction of a new bleacher shelter, traffic striping for ADA compliance, and installation of a grinder station and accompanying force main to be ran to an existing service lateral. The project will also include, but is not entirely limited to erosion and sedimentation control, grading, new picnic tables, trash cans, benches, and grills. This project will generally follow construction documents developed by JFK Architectures Inc. in 2018 with the exception of the relocation of the existing playground equipment and the addition of protective playground material. These items will be addressed separately in a different project and should not be considered in this bid process. Question Submission Deadline: October 18, 2023, 5:00pm Deadline for County Response to written Questions: October 20, 2023, 9:00pm Intended Date for Contract Award: November 16, 2023 The Glynn County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive all technicalities, reject any or all bids, and make the award in the best interest of the County. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond for an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid Liquidated Damages May Be Assessed at Three Hundred Dollars ($300) Per Day. Contract Time Shall Consist of One Hundred Twenty (120) Consecutive Calendar Days for the Completion of Work, to Be Computed From the Date of the Notice to Proceed.
