Elevator modernization at Public Services Building elevator #1, 2 & 3 Contractors will be required to submit a schedule for completion of work and receive approval on said schedule prior to final award of contract. This project will require payment/performance bonds and retainage agreement. As well as First Tier Subcontractors form for any potential sub-contracting work. Prevailing wage required for both prime and any First Tier. County only needs prime contractor documentation. Attachments A-G will be considered requirements of the contract Washington County Facilities Division is looking to modernize/upgrade the three (3) elevators located at Public Services Building at 155 N First Avenue Hillsboro, OR 97124 located in the middle of the building on the 1st floor. The elevator project will be a done as construction project requiring payment/performance bonds and retainage. Elevators are currently under a maintenance program done by Centric Elevator of Oregon. Washington County has hired an elevator consultant who over the last 6-7 years has evaluated the condition and consulted with us on the current elevator services contract. The consultants recommendation was to modernize these elevators based on the age, lack of available parts, recent entrapments, and poor performance of the equipment over the last few years. The County reserves the right to modify this schedule at the County's discretion. Proper notification of changes in the bid closing date will be made to all bidders who have received bid documents.
