The Floyd County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids for the purpose of the Installation of Bonded Rubber Mulch for Alto Park Softball Complex in Floyd County GA. The County reserves the right to waive compliance by any applicant with any provision contained in this request whenever the County in its sole discretion believes such waiver is in the County's best interests. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis or individual item basis, whichever is in the best interest of the County. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after time has been called on the date of opening. Provide all labor, materials and tools to install approximately 7,416 total sq. ft. of Bonded Rubber Mulch to Three Playground areas at Alto Park Softball Complex. 2. Installation must be per manufacturer's specifications and should be in compliance with current ASTM and CPSC standards. 3. Provide and install approximately 7,416 total sq. ft. of 4" compacted 57 stone base as required for providing a stable base for Bonded Rubber Mulch Installation. 4. Stone base is calculated at 4" prior to compaction. Provide and install approximately 7,416 sq. ft. of Bonded Rubber Mulch with aromatic binder for the following: Top Playground: 2,916 sq. ft. @ 6' CFH Bottom Playground #1: 2,800 sq. ft. @ 6' CFH Bottom Playground #2: 1,700 sq. ft. @ 6' CFH 6. The contractor must state the brand name of the mulch to be provided and quantities to be installed. 7. Bonded Rubber Mulch should be installed to a depth that would achieve 7 ft. of fall protection. The contractor should state the depth of mulch to be provided and the approximate cu. yds.
