Description of Project. Install Metal Roof Re-cover System on an Existing Building. Required License. Commercial/subcontractor Roof Construction Engineer's Opcc. $300,000 - $350,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bid Security. Bids Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Sum of the Base Bid and Any Alternatives and Must Be in the Form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond Written by a Surety Company Licensed to Do Business in Louisiana, and Payable to the Owner. Document Notes : Deposit for the First Set is Fully Refundable to All Online Prime Bidders Upon Return of the Documents, in Good Condition, Bound as Issued, and Free of Marks, Colors or Notes, No Later Than Ten Days After Receipt of Bids. The Deposit for All Other Sets of Documents Will Be Refunded 50% Upon Return of Documents as Stated Above. Contractors Not Submitting Bids on Project Will Be Refunded 50% of the Deposit Upon Return of the Bid Documents in the Condition and Timeframe Described Above. Sign-in Will Be Between 9:45 Am and 10:00 Am. Meeting Will Be Closed at 10:00 Am. Persons Arriving After the Meeting Starts Will Not Be Allowed to Attend the Pre-bid Conference. Attendance at the Pre-bid Conference by an Officer, Estimator or Other Individual With Knowledge in Preparing the Bid, is Mandatory and Will Be Considered a Pre-condition for Bidder Eligibility. Acceptance of Bids. Bids Shall Only Be Accepted From Contractors Who Are Properly Licensed Under La R.s. 37. No Bid May Be Withdrawn After the Bid Opening Except as Allowed Under the Provisions of La R.s. 38 and the Bid Documents. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids for Just Cause in Accordance With La R.s. 38.
