In accordance with N.C.G.S. 143-64.31, Fayetteville Public Works Commission ("PWC") is seeking the services of one or more qualified professional engineering firms to provide on-call engineering services for various projects. PWC is seeking firms whose combination of experience and personnel will provide timely, cost-effective, and quality professional services to support these projects. The intent is to make awards based on the bulleted disciplines listed within the scope of services section. One award will be made per discipline. Vendors may be awarded multiple disciplines, but no discipline will have more than one award. PWC has the need for consulting engineers (each a "Consultant") to assist with various technical issues related to electrical distribution, transmission, telecommunication, substation infrastructure and certain residential, commercial, and industrial infrastructure. These projects can be small in scope and usually immediate in terms of need. The availability of the Consultant and its response times is of the utmost importance. The following is a general description of the tasks that may be required. This is not intended to be all-inclusive, nor is it guaranteed that all of the tasks will be utilized under every contract. A detailed Scope of Services will be negotiated for each Task Order between PWC and the Consultant.
