Term Contract for Replacement of Granular Activated Carbon Media in Filters at Water Treatment Plant The City of West Palm Beach is soliciting bids from responsible and qualified Contractors to provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, supplies, costs and incidentals necessary to remove, dispose and replace the filter sand and spent Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) with new NSF / ANSI-61 certified GAC media in thirty-two (32) rapid gravity filters at the City of West Palm Beach Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The City intends to replace the GAC and filter sand in thirty-two (32) GAC filters in four (4) phases, over a period of five (5) years.
