Construction Manager Services for interior renovation of the courtroom spaces in the Walter F Mondale Hall, located on the west bank of the Twin Cities campus. Refer to the Request for Proposal documents (found in the Attachments tab) for full project details/requirements. The existing courtrooms at Walter F. Mondale Hall were constructed over 40 years ago and have not significantly changed since then. This Project aims to renovate the courtrooms to meet contemporary expectations for technology, accessibility, flexibility, and overall functionality. The spaces will function as classrooms but will also replicate a real courtroom experience to provide an authentic learning environment. The primary objectives of the renovation will include: Reconfiguration of the courtroom layout to meet current courtroom standards and to provide accessibility throughout the spaces Updating technology systems throughout the courtrooms and adjacent supporting spaces Updating interior finishes, acoustics, and lighting Updating fixtures, furnishings, and equipment Providing flexibility and adaptability for the different user groups Enhancing the student experience and aiding in recruitment Indicate the percent of wages for construction workers that the Respondent will charge under 6.2.2 of the Contract as full payment for costs paid or incurred by the Respondent for taxes (SUTA, FUTA, and FICA), workers compensation insurance contributions, assessments and benefits required by law or collective bargaining agreements, and for personnel not covered by such agreements, customary benefits such as sick leave, medical and health benefits, holidays, vacations, and pensions.
