Final fabrication of tank would be completed inside facility due to building access size limitations. The City is requesting pricing for two options, galvanized plate and stainless steel fabrication. The City will evaluate and determine which material will be used upon award of bid. Note that a contractor can provided pricing for one or both options and still be considered a valid bid. Option A: i. Galvanized Plate: 1. 12 gauge Galvanized Plate. 2. Bolt together construction 3. Required fasteners and sealants included 4. Removal and disposal of existing tank 5. City of Midland will be responsible for any and all electrical work required. 6. Installation of new tank in place 7. Project related clean up Option B: ii. Stainless Steel: 1. 12 gauge Stainless Steel (Type 304) plate. 2. Weld together construction 3. Required fasteners and sealants included 4. Removal and disposal of existing tank 5.
