SCOPE Harris County is soliciting bids for channel conveyance improvements along Horsepen Bayou and tributaries for the Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD). This project consists of construction activities along B104-00-00 (Horsepen Bayou) from Bay Area Boulevard to approximately 650 feet north of Clear Lake City Boulevard at the confluence with B204-04- 00 located in the Armand Bayou (B) Watershed in Harris County, Texas and widening the B104-00-00 channel above the ordinary high-water mark along the 13,500 LF channel reach from Bay Area Boulevard to the confluence with B204-00-00, spot erosion repair, installing various rock materials, replacing storm sewer outfalls, regrading backslope swales, including concrete driveways, installing an all-weather maintenance access road along the installed channel shelf, installing access ramps, and installing soil nail retaining walls under the El Dorado Boulevard bridge and two Bay Oaks Country Club golf care bridges Performance and Payment Bonds, requires the vendor to provide a payment bond on all public works jobs that exceed $25,000, and a performance bond on all public works jobs that exceed $100,000 Pre-Bid Conference Microsoft Teams (Audio Teleconferencing) Oct 17th 2023, 10:00 AM CDT - 10:30 AM CDT Space is limited, if you desire to participate in the audio pre-bid conference, please contact Maria Heinzmann, Office of the Purchasing Agent, via email to maria.heinzmann@pur.hctx.net three (3) days prior to the audio conference Questions Due Date: Oct 27th 2023, 12:00 PM CDT
