The existing building is three stories with approximately 115,000 square feet of smooth coat, integral color acrylic plaster. Clean, grind and prepare the surfaces of the existing plaster system to receive silicone elastomeric coating as detailed in the drawings and specifications. Prepare and prime surfaces as recommended by sealant manufacturer. Install back-up material, back-up rod stock and joint filler as required for sealant application. Apply sealant under pressure with power actuated gun as detailed within the plans. Apply elastomeric paint coating to exterior walls. Provide masking of all existing doors, windows, railings, signs, electrical devices, etc. not scheduled to painted. Provide phasing project installation, scaffold, fencing, and other safety measures to allow access to building interiors for use during construction. Contractor to be responsible to maintain weather protection during construction. Include a $50,000 allowance in base bid for unforeseen conditions to be used as directed by District during course of project. Any unused allowance will be returned as credit to the District at end of project. Provide 20 year manufacturer warranty.
