Furnish and install approximately 930 LF of 6" RJ DIP water line, 331 LF of 1" PEXa service line, three (3) water line tie-ins, along with fittings, valves, hydrants, connections to existing system, concrete, pavement repairs, erosion control, traffic control and other required appurtenances for a complete project. Question Submission Deadline: October 18, 2023, 4:00pm Question Response Deadline: October 25, 2023, 4:00pm Award, if award is made, will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder on the Total Base Bid per the bid proposal form. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of his maximum bid price subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. In accordance with provisions of TCA 62-6-119, the name, license number, expiration date thereof, and license classification of the contractors applying to the bid for the prime contract and for major subcontracts shall appear on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. Any and all Bids not meeting the aforementioned criteria for Bid submittal, will be declared nonresponsive and void, shall not be opened or considered, and will be returned to the Bidder unopened. All Bids must be made out and submitted on the proposal form furnished for this purpose and in accordance with the instructions in the Instructions to Bidders. No interlineations, additions, or deletions shall be made in the proposal form by the Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids, to evaluate any Bid, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be for the best interest of the Owner. No Bids will be received or accepted after the above specified time for the opening of Bids. Bids submitted after the designated hour will be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the Bidder. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Bid. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bidders are required to certify, under penalty of perjury, that bids have been prepared without collusion with other bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. This certification is included with the Bid Proposal which each Bidder must sign in the space provided. This project is subject to the requirements and regulations of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Tennessee Department of Transportation and of any applicable State and local codes.
