The City of Houston through the direction of ARA/ParkHouston is managing the Camp Logan and Woodcrest monument sign repair located within the Washington avenue roundabout. The goal of the project is to repair the Camp Logan and Woodcrest monument signs back to their original state matching the other monument signs in the roundabout (Crestwood, WOW Roundabout, and Rice Military). Work under this contract shall include the furnishing of all labor, tools, supplies, materials, transportation, supervision, and necessary insurance for the repair both monuments. Contractor will: 1.1 Demo and remove the damaged sections. 1.2 Rebuild damaged areas with needed materials. 1.3 New stones must match other monument signs. 1.4 All mortar must be made to match other signs. 1.5 Install new cap stone, CMU block in damaged area, and install new matching stone where needed. 1.6 Install Sign Panels to match the other signs. (Signs should read 13 Camp Logan ad 2. Woodcrest. Send proof sheet before lettering) 1.7 Power wash both signs. 1.8 Clean & reuse existing stone if possible. 1.9 Work must be complete within 90 days to avoid penalty. 1.10 Please provide samples of previous monument sign work, references, and years of experience.
