The work will be funded by the New Jersey Department of Transportation Trust Fund. The major construction items include: Base Bid Montgomery Avenue: 5,500 s.y. Roadway Milling 0"-2"; 640 tons of HMA 9.5M-64 surface course 2" thick; 100 s.y. of HMA 19M-64 base repair 5" thick, 200 s.y. reinforced concrete sidewalk 4" thick, 800 l.f. concrete curb; 9 unit's inlet repair Type B; 500 s.y. topsoil restoration and other lawn restoration and incidental items. Alternate Bid Montgomery Avenue: 184 If 9"xl8" Vertical Concrete Curb, 50 sy Pavement Repair (5" HMA 19M-64, 2" HMA 9.5M-64 . The Borough shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid, Base Bid plus Alternate Bid or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address ofthe bidder and the name ofthe project on the outside, addressed to the Borough Engineer's Office 49 East Main Street Flemington, NJ 08822 and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of die amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Bidders are required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. The Borough of Rocky Hill Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid inuring to the benefit ofthe Borough of Rocky Hill.
