Question Deadline 10/25/2023 at 3:30 PM ET Please submit questions via e-mail to: Travis Saunier (tsaunier@summitmetroparks.org) Contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting bids. If visiting the site, please park in the public parking lot at the west end of the project area. Parking on the trail is not permitted. The Contractor is responsible for scheduling the Project, coordinating the Subcontractors, and providing other services identified in the Contract Documents. Prevailing Wage rate requirements are applicable to this Project. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in and to be in good standing in a Drug-Free Safety Program ("DFSP") approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation ("OBWC") prior to submitting a Bid and provide certain information relative to their enrollment in such a program if requested by Summit Metro Parks. o The general scope of the project includes removal of the existing culvert, stream restoration, pedestrian bridge, roadway pavement removal, excavation, and corridor restoration. o Be aware of limits of work; minimize clearing and project impact. o Big Oak near bridge abutment. o All removed pavement to be disposed of off-site. o Export project. Excess material to be hauled off-site with a limited amount of on-site spoil embankment. Access o Roadway corridor will be closed during construction. o Existing culvert over stream may be used for construction traffic.
