Reference Number 0000327114 The City of Fort Collins is requesting proposals from qualified Contractors to remove three underground fuel storage tanks from the Transfort Maintenance Facility at 6570 Portner Road, Fort Collins, CO 80525. Question Acceptance Deadline 10/18/2023 at 3:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No -- All questions should be submitted, in writing via email, to Jake Rector, Senior Buyer at jrector@fcgov.com General Requirements - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Federally Funded - Insurance Required - License Required - Required - Safety Standards Plan Award Requirements - All or None Award -Completion of project: December 31, 2023 Remove Three (2 - 10,000 Gallon; 1 - 20,000 Gallon) underground Storage Tanks from the Transfort Facility at 6570 Portner Road Fort Collins CO 80525. Tanks were installed in 1984. See Attachment A Remove the entire fuel system including tanks, dispensing equipment, and all associated piping. Proposal should include work to remove established, mature tree(s) over and near tank location if needed; The City preference would be to preserve trees. See photos for marked tree(s). Obtain all permits from local AHJ as well as the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment - Division of Oil and Public Safety. Remove any residual fuel that remains in the system including the tanks, pumps, and associated piping. Properly dispose of tanks and associated piping, provide manifest for disposal to owner. A site assessment and reporting as required by the Division of Oil and Public Safety (OPS) shall be completed All work to comply with CDLE Policy 29, for owner Reimbursement, Hydro Excavation for the first 36" within dripline of tree, allow for treatment of large roots after hydro excavation complete. Proposal Includes the repair of Concrete and Landscaping disturbed by this scope of work. o Concrete tarmac includes 10" and 12" depths Demolish and remove the raised concrete island in the fuel island and pour back flush with adjacent concrete. See Attachment B. Provide workmanship warranty. Pictures of construction site are referenced in Attachment F. Coordinate the progress of the Work including coordination between trades, subcontractors, suppliers, public utilities and Owner to ensure the progress of Work. Work shall include all items incidental to completion of the project whether or not specifically called for including, but not limited to traffic control, landscape & tree protection, restoration, site repair, and site cleanup. This is a Federally funded project and the DBE goal is 1.4%. All Federal Transit Administration Federally Required And Other Model Contract Clauses are attached hereto for reference.
