Oil Interceptors and Catch Basins require removal and disposal of oil-based waste, residual sludge and solids to approved processing facilities and landfill sites by the Contractor. Emergency spill clean-up and disposal are required for, OC Transpo properties including the Transitway as well as regional roadways within the City of Ottawa boundaries. Other services may be required which may include but are not limited to the occasional removal of oily water or oil-based waste from, hoist pits and elevator pits at any of the OC Transpo locations. Locations covered by this tender may include but are not limited to the following: St. Laurent South at 1500 St. Laurent Blvd. St. Laurent North at 1500 St. Laurent Blvd. Merivale Garage at, 164 Colonnade Road Pinecrest Garage at 2550 Queensview Road Industrial Garage at 755 Industrial Ave. Walkley Shop at 3101 Albion Road The Contractor will conduct their operation in accordance with all the applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal Regulations including, but not limited to: The latest versions of the Environmental Protection Act (Provincial) The Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS Regulations (Provincial) The Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act (Federal) and the Dangerous Goods Act (Ontario) The Ontario Ministry of Transportation Publications. Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices Traffic Control Manual for Roadway Work Operations - Field Operations Commercial General Liability insurance issued on an occurrence basis for an amount of not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence for any negligent acts or omissions by the Contractor. Such insurance shall include, but is not limited to, bodily injury, death and property damage including loss of use: premises, property and operations liability: products and broad form completed operations liability; blanket contractual liability; cross liability; severability of interest clause; contingent employers liability; personal injury liability; owner's and contractor's protective coverage; non-owned automobile liability; broad form property damage; employees as additional Insured; occurrence property damage.
