The Work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, methods, materials, tools, permits, and equipment, which are necessary to accomplish the specified Electric Line Clearance Services, in accordance with accepted industry practices, the scope of which includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: hazardous tree pruning, line clearance tree pruning, tree removal, and associated work, to include brush and log disposal The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities. After Notice of Award of a Bid by the Owner, the successful Bidder shall provide the specified 100-percent Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and insurance certificates in a timely manner. Once bonds and insurance are in order, a purchase order will be issued to the successful Bidder prior to the performance of the Work Ten percent (10%) Bid Bond is submitted with bid The Contractor shall complete all the Work called for under the Contract to the satisfaction of the City of Redding Representative by April 15, 2024 If the Contractor has not completed the work by April 15, 2024 the Contractor shall be assessed $400.00 for each calendar day work is delayed beyond the Contract period. Liquidated damages shall be deducted from the final payment.
