As of January 9 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on January 19, 2024. Air Cooled Chiller and Controls Retrofit, Monroe County Government Complex Building in Amory, MS. The proposed work will be awarded in a lump-sum proposal in accordance to the various proposition. Bidder shall provide crane and all materials to remove the old chiller and set the new one in its place. Demo existing pipe connections; haul off the old chiller for disposal. Install new chiller and controls, and test for proper operation. For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call at 225-810-4814. Proposals must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of acceptable Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid; such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who may be awarded the contract, but who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post-performance bond in the form and amount within the time specified. All bids submitted must comply with Chapter 31, Section 3 of the Mississippi Code enact 1972. The Monroe County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding. ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors this the 6th day of November, 2023. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. $200,000 to $500,000.
