Notice to Proceed January 01, 2024 Occupancy & Substantial Completion August 01, 2025 RFQ Questions due by: October 18, 2023 @ 2:00 PM (PT) RFQ Protests due by: October 18, 2023 @ 2:00 PM (PT) Direct RFQ Questions and Single Point of Contact RFQ Protests to: Spencer Davenport, CPSD Chief Projects Officer Email: spencer.davenport@district6.org Phone: 541-494-6211 The project involves the design and construction of a versatile 6,400 square foot gymnasium facility based on the conceptual design by ORW Architecture. See Attachment A: Project Conceptual Plan. This design will be adapted to align with our commitment to efficient resource utilization and optimal budget management, while adhering to a tight project timeline. The gymnasium will encompass multipurpose sports courts, storage, and a dedicated kiln room for artistic activities. Additionally, the facility should include infrastructure that supports the future creation of outdoor dining spaces. The design should seamlessly integrate with the existing school architecture and adhere to all relevant building codes and regulations. Jackson County School District No. 6 (Central Point) (the District) is pleased to invite experienced and qualified Design-Build teams with a strong focus on economic approaches to construction, especially considering a limited budget and accelerated project completion, to submit their qualifications for the construction of a new gymnasium at Mae Richardson Elementary School. This project represents a significant investment in our students physical education, artistic expression, and recreational opportunities. We are excited to collaborate with a skilled team that places emphasis on cost-effective solutions, timely delivery, and innovative design, building upon the conceptual design provided by ORW Architecture. We eagerly anticipate reviewing your qualifications and identifying a Design-Build partner that shares our vision for cost-effective and prompt delivery of educational facilities. District representatives will attempt to answer Proposers questions and address their concerns at the Pre-Proposal Meeting and Tour. However, no oral statements made by District representatives will be binding unless confirmed by written addendum. The District will post Electronically such addenda as considered necessary in response to questions arising at the PreProposal Meeting and Tour. Proposers shall be capable of providing a 100% performance bond and a 100% labor and material bond for the Project. Prospective Proposers may request or suggest any change to the RFQ by submitting a written request. The request shall specify the provision of the RFQ in question and contain an explanation for the requested change. The District will evaluate all requests submitted but will not be obligated to accept requested changes. Questions and suggestions pertaining to this RFQ shall be presented via email to the SPC listed on the Cover Sheet. Questions and suggestions must be received by date and time stated on the Cover Sheet. Reponses to questions and suggestions will be compiled and collectively addressed in addendum format Electronically . There will be no public opening of Proposals. Proposals received will not be available for inspection until after the evaluation process has been completed and the Notice of Intent to Award is issued. However, the District will record and make available the identity of all Proposers after opening Question Deadline 10/18/2023 at 2:00 PM PT
