The Proponent shall provide an explanation of the proposed work plan documenting an ability to perform the Scope of Work and an understanding of the Safe Streets For All Southern Nevada Action Plan. In addition to addressing the Scope of Work and its Tasks, the Proponent is encouraged to highlight its approach to and/or process for addressing the following Scope of Work components: (a) Effective community and stakeholder engagement within the urban, rural and underserved communities (b) Convening stakeholders for a study and soliciting information and participation from them (c) Developing and building consensus with respect to goals, strategies, and an implementation plan (d) Emphasizing and incorporating equity into the planning process and project deliverables (e) Emphasizing and incorporating context- and project-specific multimodal transportation options into transportation safety plans (f) Accomplishing the Scope of Work in a timely manner and within the project budget (g) Offering conclusions and implementable recommendations that are context- and project-specific (h) Developing project deliverables that are creative, implementable and visually dynamic. (i) Developing community supportive Pop-up temporary /pilot demonstration projects (j) Developing, processing and displaying (standard and emerging) regional to localized crash data, collection and reporting crash data (k) Developing best practices, Policies and Procedures for all users of Southern Nevada's road network The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from Proponents to develop a community-driven action plan that leverages new data sources to prioritize equitable mobility projects that utilize cost-effective, impactful strategies to significantly reduce the unacceptable traffic deaths that occurred in Clark County.
