Each Bidder Must Deposit With Their Bid, Security in the Amount, Form, and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Instructions to Bidders and Other Bidding Documents. Any Bid Received After the Scheduled Closing Time for Receipt of Bids Will Be Returned to the Bidder Unopened. The Project Includes the Following Work: Furnishing and Paying for All Work Necessary for Construction of an Approximately 780-foot-long Public Road and Grading and Base Stone for an Approximately 46,000 Square Foot Convenience Center Site as Represented in the Drawings and Specifications, and in Compliance With the Requirements of Hickman County, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation. The Work Covered by These Contract Documents Shall Include but Not Be Limited to the Following: Labor, Materials, Equipment, Overhead, Profit, Permits, Fees, Testing, Utility Location Verification, Coordination of Work With Utility Companies, Natural Gas Line Relocation, Utility Relocations as Necessary for Construction, Chain Link Fencing, Demolition of Existing Features as Necessary, Site Clearing, Site Preparation, the Stripping and Stockpiling of Topsoil, Site Grading, Excavation, Including Undercutting, Backfilling, Fills and Embankments, Dust Control, Preparation of Subgrade, Finish Grading, Public Water Main Extension, Sanitary Sewer Grinder Pump and Force Main Construction Including a Bore Under a State Highway, the Supplying and/or Respreading of Topsoil, Surveying, Construction Layout, Erosion Control, Traffic Control, Construction Work Zone Safety, Storm Drainage, a Detention Pond, Base Stone, Asphalt Paving, Pavement Marking and Signage, Seeding, Matting, Watering, Rip Rap, Site Cleanup, Proper Offsite Disposal of All Surplus Materials and Debris, and All Inspection Personnel and Professional Services Required to Develop, Establish, and Maintain an Active Swppp Throughout the Entire Construction Period.
