Reference Number 0000331941 The City is seeking a qualified vendor to remove the existing fence and replace with new, improved material. City of Wheat Ridge Procurement Attn: Whitney Mugford-Smith wmsmith@ci.wheatridge.co.us General Requirements - Insurance Required Award Requirements - All or None Award -Anticipated Contract Execution: November 2023 The actual services to be performed will be determined by the City, to include but not limited to the following areas: All fence materials to be off the shelf and readily available from local building material suppliers. Replace existing decorative cedar fence with new estate fence in same location. The contractor will be responsible to call 811 for locates for the project. The city will mark all private locates. Concrete will be mixed with potable water only. The concrete will be premixed and the added to each post hole as needed. No dry concrete and water mix in post holes allowed. The contractor will provide a portable concrete wash out for the project. Depending temperatures and if the water is still on at the Historic Park the city will provide potable water. If temperatures are below freezing or if the water has been shut off for the season the contractor will provide the potable water, they need for the project. The contractor will need to provide 200 foot plus of garden hose also. Demolish existing fence and haul away. The contractor will remove and haul away all spoils and construction debris. The contractor will remove any existing post concrete that is at or above grade. The contractor will also fill and compact all old fence post holes with soil. The contractor will minimize damage to the site, turf, and road shoulder. The contractor will clean the entire site daily including Robb St. And 46 th Ave. Do not track any mud/debris onto any street. If tracking occurs the contactor will clean the street within 4 hours of the original request to the satisfaction of the city representative. No open holes allowed over night or if the contractor is off site. Submit driveway gate and man gate detail for approval. Gates to open into the property. Gates will include a drop rod, wheels, and a padlock device. Gates may be wood, metal or wood/metal hybrid. The contractor will protect the entire site from all weather and temperature damage. The city will not accept any damaged or vandalized work. The contractor will be responsible for the management of all their construction materials. Do not leave any construction materials unattended. The contractor will replace any vandalized or stolen materials at no additional cost to the city. The contractor can stage from the existing gravel driveway off Robb St. The contractor work vehicles only may also be parked on the east side of Robb St. on the road shoulder during work in progress.
