The existing bridge at Pearcy Rd. will be replaced in the same approximate location with straddle bents. Based on limited field measurements and sketches, Bridge No. 18552 is 180' long, has a 21'-4" clear roadway and consists of 4 concrete channel beam spans supported by concrete columns on concrete footings. The existing bridge intermediate bents are to be replaced with straddle bent caps supported by concrete filled steel shell piles. The proposed bridge substructure will be positioned along the existing alignment. The bridge is to be supported by temporary falsework while the new concrete bent caps are constructed. The improvement to be accomplished by the contract is in Garland County along Pearcy Rd. at the crossing of Mazarn Creek approximately 2 miles north of the intersection of Pearcy Rd. and Hwy. 70 (Airport Rd). The construction will consist of approximately the following: Demolition, temporary falsework, bridge jacking, straddle bent construction, riprap All questions must be answered and the data given must be clear and comprehensive. This statement must be notarized. If necessary, questions may be answered on separate attached sheets. The bidder may submit any additional information he desires. embankment protection, erosion control, storm water pollution prevention, and traffic control at the Pearcy Rd. Bridge in Garland Co.
