The Work to be performed under this project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required to construct the facilities and features called for by the Contract Documents and as shown on the Construction Drawings. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the OWNER for five percent of the total amount of the Bid. As soon as the Bid prices have been compared, the OWNER will return the Bonds of all except the three lowest responsible, responsive Bidders. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract This project consists of full-depth roadway reconstruction, street lighting, utilities, and landscaping. Final constructed improvements may include roadway, curb and gutter, curb, concrete flatwork, drainage, street lighting, trenching/boring conduit, waterline, sewer line, storm drain line and features, and landscaping. Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to City of Moab, 217 E. Center Street, Moab, Utah 84532. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for City of Moab, Kane Creek Boulevard Reconstruction and the envelope should bear on the outside, the name of the Bidder, his address, his license number (if applicable) and the name of the Project for which the Bid is submitted. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the OWNER at 217 E. Center Street, Moab, Utah 84532 The ENGINEER for this Project will be Civil Science, Inc. and will be represented by Cody Howick, P.E. as Project Manager, Justin Jones, P.E. as Project Engineer and Ryan Devitt as Project Designer. Any notices regarding changes / Addenda to the Contract Documents will be sent to the email addresses associated with the Bidders registration. Bidders are responsible to maintain accurate contact information and check-in with ENGINEER to receive updates or additional information. Bid Security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The OWNER may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all Bids.
