The Project includes the following Work: Construction of Proposed 3,820 gpm Triplex Sanitary Sewer Pump Station including but not limited to: Reinforced, Cast-in-Place Concrete Wet Well and Dry Well Three (3) Self-priming Sewage Pumps and controls Split-face CMU Pump Station building with Standing Seam Metal Roof Electrical including Stand-by Generator Site Work 14-inch Ductile Iron Force Main with Bypass Pump Connections and Tie-in to Existing 8-inch PVC Force Main The Project has an expected duration of 480 days. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Bidding Documents may also be examined at the following locations: City of Rocky Mount - Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The Owner has developed a goal of ten percent (10%) for participation of minority-owned and women owned business enterprises in construction contracts awarded pursuant to NCGS 143-128. Bidders must comply with the Owner's requirements for W/MBE documentation. The City reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS. BIDDERS shall be properly licensed under Chapter 87, General Statutes of North Carolina. Small, minority and women's businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit BIDS. The City of Rocky Mount is an equal opportunity employer and service provider.
