The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the wetland restoration projects on Clifton Wildlife Management Area by way of construction of dikes, spillways, tile breaking, sediment removals, and installing tile and water gate valves. The location of the project is: Clifton Wildlife Management Area in Section 7, Clifton Township (T.111N, R.40W) Lyon County, Minnesota. The work is to be performed on property owned by the State of Minnesota, Department of Natural Resources. All inquiries, information, and coordination with the Project Supervisor relating to the scheduling of work, use of site and similar matters shall be directed to: Adam Kleinschmidt - Site Manager Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Wetland Specialist 398 Sibley Park Road NE New London, MN 56273-9664 Phone (Cell): 320-491-5030 Email: adam.kleinschmidt@state.mn.us No extras will be allowed because of the Contractors misunderstanding as to the amount of work entailed, or lack of knowledge of existing conditions. When requesting a site visit please request to do so 3 days in advance. Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State. Work cannot commence before November 1, 2023 or receipt of Notice to Proceed whichever occurs later. Final Completion of the work shall be on or before August 30, 2024. The State reserves the right to: Require Responders to conduct presentations, demonstrations, or submit samples; Award by item (including category, location, etc.), by groups of items, or all items, therefore, the Responder is encouraged to offer a response for all items; Award by location; and Interview key personnel or references.
